Doing the Khan Khan

Having recently quit my job to prepare going back to UP, one would think I'd have more time to actually devote to playing Khan. Alas, I get along playing honestly, but that's pretty much it. Playing without my guild mates and hitching on others' is not exactly time well spent for me.

Ahehe, recent additions have been made to the Guild. Very low-level players who I am currently tanking (to the best of my sorc abilities mind you). I've taken pains to invite at least another healer (a level 35 cleric by the time of this posting) just so levelling all the other noobies isnt that tasking.

So dont be surprised if you see a couple of those names happen to be online when you log in, hehe.

I'm also making them undergo a regimen of con-massing while I'm tanking them. One never knows when that extra HP might come in handy for the other members, lolz.

Also, make use of the Alliance Chat function if one or another of the "senior" guild members aren't there (as we all have full adult lives too, dont we? hoho!). I've added some allies composed of Guild friends like kenshin4maui (a former KE member) and Mezosoic who I think head their own (powerful) guilds now too. They would always welcome a KnifesEdger to join their parties in Hangzhou or anywhere else.

Khan Update

Hmm, it's both an exciting and tedious time to be playing Khan these days; what with the recent ki boosts (triple ki for the past two weeks; double/mod ki for this week), in-game events, tournaments, etc.

Two major news bits for those who haven't been playing:

1.) The multi-hit cheat has reportedly been taken cared of. Thank God for that. Because of these bastards, I think the Khan game moderators lessened the drop rate even more (as if looking for something as essential as the proper gear should be that hard).

This impacts players in the sense that Wroclaw 3 items now go for ABSURDLY FUCKING HIGH PRICES that regular players wont be able to afford if they dont plan on gluing themselves in front of the monitor for two straight days.

With the soon-to-be released Siberia patch, the game should be able to eliminate these cheat codes for good. The thing is, khan admin doesnt seem to be keen on becoming a little more relaxed in letting the drop rate go higher. Yknow, to at least quell the almost astronomical (300 million golds for a frickin book; are you guys insane?!) happenings of the Khan marketplace.

I mean, really, we've been playing in Hangzhou for four (4) hours and no single drop. Sigh...

It's like putting a stranglehold on the already not-so-considerable Khan populace.

2.) Khan/ NetGames and Level-Up (the leading MMORPGame provider in the country to date {cornering 90% ofmarket shares}) are going to merge.

This might mean big news in the way the game is handled. The site is not giving away details on said merger just yet but I'm expecting many good things to happen for Khan players because of this maneuver.

Whatever this bodes for future Khan gameplay, I do not know (I am actually just too lazy to speculate too much) but it is more likely going to result with Khan being more "marketable" so to speak; more gimmicks to pull in new players (which we all need) but might mean more money spent for the same game-value we're getting now.

So I suggest we max out the not-yet-too-corporate environs of Khan. Just to be safe (we may be too high-leveled characters by the time the merger [slated to be by the year 2007] to be drastically affected). Sulitin natin ang maliligayang araw natin kumbaga hohohoho!

So that's it for now peeps! I think Im getting better at this GL thing, but I'm not too sure haha.

PS~~~

Added links to the Khan (RP and Mirinae) website. Still need more time to get a proper tag-board so for the moment tiis muna with the comments option.

When this guild page becomes even more functional, maybe I can feature our Guild in Khan dot PH. Who knows? ^^ The publicity might do us some good hoho.

BB!
